About the Role
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our medical-legal review team. You will analyze medical records, summarize treatment histories, and identify key medical issues for personal injury cases handled by New York law firms.
Key Responsibilities
- •Review and analyze medical records from various healthcare providers
- •Create comprehensive medical chronologies and summaries
- •Identify potential medical malpractice issues and deviations from standard care
- •Collaborate with U.S. attorneys to clarify medical terminology and treatment protocols
- •Prepare detailed reports highlighting injuries, treatment, and prognosis
- •Work night shifts (5 PM - 2 AM NPT) to align with New York business hours
Qualifications
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or equivalent
- ✓Valid nursing license from Nepal Nursing Council
- ✓Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- ✓Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
- ✓Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- ✓Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- ✓Prior experience in medical-legal consulting is a plus
